I'm Eann "The Ear" Robinson.

I grew up between the thunder of Niagara Falls and the industrial pulse of Buffalo, two cities that taught me to listen for what's real underneath the noise. The music coming out of Western New York has always been hungrier than the spotlight it gets. That gap is what I work in.
At SUNY Fredonia, I studied the mechanics of the music business: contracts, royalties, distribution, the architecture beneath every release. I went in loving artists; I came out understanding what it takes to protect them.
In 2018, I co-founded Ear Quality with my childhood best friend Kiman Baldon. We built it as a boutique alternative for artists who care more about a twenty-year career than a twenty-day trend. Tailored support. Holistic development. Creative strategy that respects the artist's original vision.
"Ear Quality is more than a name. It's the standard for every output we touch."
Outside the management practice, I curate R&B Ain't Dead, a live series that pays a full band and gives R&B artists a real stage, while spotlighting community non-profits like HOME, Project Mona House, and Unite by Night. I also curate the Bombers & Ties playlist and publish The Ear Exchange on Substack, long-form writing about the business from inside the work.
Today I split my time between A&R, creative direction, and the unglamorous logistics that keep a release on rails. The work is patient. The wins compound. And the artists we partner with leave with infrastructure they can carry into whatever comes next.
